  • Rev. Chuck Nation

    Interim Pastor

    Chuck Nation was born in Lafayette, GA and has lived in Hall County since 1991. He and his wife Susan have been married 45 years and have three children and one grandchild. He was ordained in 1978, and has served the Lord for the past 40+ years as pastor of churches in Louisiana, Tennessee, Ohio, and Georgia. He has led short-term volunteer church mission teams to over 20 countries.

    Chuck came to a saving faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 20 and was called to preach shortly thereafter. He attended Louisiana State University, graduated from Tennessee Temple University and Dallas Theological Seminary, with additional studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Since his retirement in February 2019 as a full-time pastor, Pastor Chuck has provided pulpit supply in many churches, served churches as interim pastor, and traveled across the southeast speaking in revivals, events, and special meetings.

  • Rev. Derek Moore

    Minister of Music

    Derek Moore is a native of Gainesville, GA. He is a graduate of North Hall High School, North Georgia College, and University of Georgia. Derek has been serving as Music Minister in several churches since 1991. He was ordained into the ministry in 2010 while serving as a Music Minister in the area. Derek has been serving as Bi-Vocational Music Minister at Northlake since 2017. Derek and his wife, Amy, have two children, a daughter and a son.
