The Northlake Baptist New Members Class is open to new members or those considering membership.  The class is conducted usually twice each year. It is a 4 week course, scheduled during the Sunday School hour, called Northlake 101. The course is taught by Rev. Danny Jones and covers basic Christian Discipleship based on the outline in Acts chapter 2.

1. Baptism – “an outward sign of an inward grace”.
2. Church Membership – an overview and some history of Northlake Baptist Church
3. Bible Study – a Summary of Biblical Doctrine based on the Baptist Faith & Message, 2000.
4. Prayer – a prayer guide based on the acronym “ACTS” – Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication
5. Fellowship – The Family of God, Unity in Diversity
6. Ministering – Discovering our Spiritual Gifts and using them in the ministry of the church.
7. Giving – Biblical Stewardship
8. Witnessing – How to share the Gospel with others using your personal testimony.
